Next Generation Leaders of Agriculture

Long Island Farm Bureau is proud to sponsor the Young Farmer & Rancher Program for people 18 to 35 years of age. The objective of the Young Farmers & Ranchers Program is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture.

The business of agriculture has become a growing challenge on Long Island, especially for younger generations taking over the family farm. However, today's young farmers have a world of advanced technology and knowledge at their finger tips. Farm Bureau's goal is to provide leadership, education and empowerment to the next generation of farmers so that they may continue a 300 year old legacy on Long Island.

Being part of the Young Farmer & Rancher group will provide young farmers with great opportunities to network with other young people both locally and nationally.
