A Farm Picture Video
A Farm Picture is a 60-minute look at the importance of farmland preservation on Long Island. The film presents a historical account of the encroachment of development on the Island’s farmland, its agricultural heritage and the very individuals who have preserved the tradition for multiple generations. ‘A Farm Picture’, a joint effort by Long Island Farm Bureau and Mr. Glenn Gebhard, of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and Dr. Frank Turano, Stony Brook University, is engaging and provocative as it examines farming on Long Island from an economic, social and cultural point of view. Synopsis. Available in DVD for $25.00. Farmstand Art Collection
